Java server-side development experience with knowledge of multi-threaded development.
Experience implementing global, distributed systems in a 24 * 5.5 trading environment.
Experience building FX or eRates pricing systems for eCommerce is advantageous.
Knowledge of KDB / Q is advantageous but not essential.
Python experience is advantageous.
Understanding of operation of trading desks in a large, multi-site Investment Bank with significant eCommerce offering.
Knowledge of Foreign Exchange in a high volume low latency environment.
Experience working on enterprise systems and agile delivery of Quant and Business requirements.
Familiarity with Spot FX and Forward FX market conventions.
Self-motivated with a drive for problem solving.

Work directly with eRisk Quant Traders and Cash FX Forward and NDF traders on requirements.
Collaborate with technical lead and other development teams within the GFX programme to enhance the system.
Draw up detailed technical designs for assigned tasks.
Work effectively with external consultancies to provide technical and graphical design expertise.
Implement technical solutions based on agreed designs using industry-standard development patterns and methodologies, including continuous integration and automated testing.
Fully test implemented solutions before User Acceptance Testing.
Assist with deployment of components to development and test environments when required.
Participate in intra-day and overnight support rotas when required.
