Senior IT Product Analyst – Laboratory Informatics / Pharmaceutical R&D

Upvanta is a company offering innovative IT solutions for the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on R&D, preclinical laboratories, and laboratory data management in Life Sciences and Laboratory Informatics.

• 10+ years of experience in laboratory informatics, R&D IT, or business analysis in regulated environments.
• Experience with LIMS and/or eNotebook systems.
• Knowledge of laboratory processes, sample handling, and R&D workflows.
• Knowledge of GxP, GMP, GCLP, FDA, CLIA, 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience in requirements analysis, UAT, and system validation.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and basic SQL.
• Very good English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Laboratory or Life Sciences experience.
• Knowledge of LabVantage, STARLIMS, Epic Beaker, Medidata Rave, RTSM systems.
• Experience in system configuration, demos, and client work.
• Knowledge in biobanking, genetics, or assay data pipelines.

• Analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops with laboratory users and IT teams.
• Map laboratory processes to system configurations and user stories.
• Support implementation and development of LIMS, eNotebook, and assay data management systems.
• Participate in configuration, UAT testing, validation, and product improvement.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, and technical teams.
