IT Administrator

Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics consulting and services company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma. The company has delivered more than 200 projects and grown to 140+ individuals across 6 office locations. Unit8's mission is to drive the adoption of AI and Data Science in non-digital industries and accelerate their digital transformation, including pro-bono and "engineering for good" projects.

• Around 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT administration across MDM, IAM, SaaS, cloud platforms, and office networking.
• Practical experience managing endpoint devices and MDM solutions such as Jamf, Intune, or similar.
• Experience administering SaaS and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, or similar.
• Experience with identity and access management tools such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Good understanding of SSO, user lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and provisioning concepts.
• Good understanding of cloud, identity, and endpoint security including MFA, conditional access, device compliance, and least-privilege principles.
• Experience managing office networks; knowledge of UniFi/Ubiquiti products, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting is a strong plus.
• Interest in AI technologies and their secure use in business environments, especially around data privacy, access control, and automation.
• Strong security mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to develop across IT administration, cloud, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to document solutions clearly and keep documentation up to date.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure administration, Microsoft Entra ID, security baselines, and cloud governance.
• Experience with Okta lifecycle management, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience building automations around SaaS, IAM, MDM, cloud, or networking platforms.
• Interest or practical experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, especially around safe usage, automation, and productivity improvements.
• Security, identity, or cloud-related certifications.
• Familiarity with audit, compliance, or security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or CIS benchmarks.

• Administer and improve core IT platforms across MDM, SaaS, identity, cloud, office networking, and automation.
• Manage company devices and endpoint management solutions such as Jamf, Intune, or similar.
• Administer identity, directory, and SSO platforms focusing on Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Work with SSO, user lifecycle, and provisioning setups using SAML, SCIM, or OAuth.
• Manage key SaaS and collaboration platforms including Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, and other business-critical tools.
• Support cloud administration across Azure, including access management, configuration, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Support and improve office network infrastructure, especially UniFi/Ubiquiti environments, including Wi-Fi, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Improve user lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, role-based access, access reviews, and least-privilege configurations.
• Support secure adoption of AI tools including access control, data protection, and usage guidelines.
• Help maintain and improve security and data privacy controls across endpoints, SaaS tools, cloud platforms, and networks.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, internal procedures, and self-service materials.
• Collaborate with cross-location teams to keep the IT environment reliable, secure, and scalable.

• Candidate must be eligible to register as a sole trader (self-employment) in Poland.
• Candidate must be flexible and able to travel internationally to visit European office locations.
