Cloud Data Architect

Future Processing is an IT company focused on delivering modern data processing platforms and solutions integrated with AWS cloud ecosystem and BI/ML tools.

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3.5 years in cloud data engineering on AWS with commercial production deployments
• At least 1 year experience as Lead Developer, Data Architect, or equivalent responsibility level
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS Data services and proficient use of Databricks platform including Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog
• Practical experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools: CI/CD, Git, Terraform
• Experience designing data models and migrating systems from on-premise to cloud
• Experience supporting technical pre-sales processes, comfortable with technical presentations and public speaking
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers
• Advanced English language skills (minimum C1) for business and technical communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with IaaC/Terraform
• Knowledge of Git
• Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Marts
• Familiarity with Lambda Architecture

• Design and build modern data processing platforms (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Lakehouse) integrated with AWS and BI/ML solutions
• Provide technological and business consultancy to clients, including cost-optimized architecture selection (Lambda, Kappa)
• Participate actively in pre-sales processes: gathering and detailing requirements, presenting technological approaches, and building competitive advantage arguments
• Contribute to commercial offers by designing architecture schemes, estimating project effort, and calculating TCO/ROI using cloud calculators
• Design and implement near real-time analytical solutions and secure data storage and processing mechanisms
• Conduct R&D projects, Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations, and continuous optimization and auditing of data systems for performance and cloud cost
