Automation Tester/QA (Java, Selenium)

Scalo is offering a position involving automation testing for business-critical processes using technologies such as Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Git, CI/CD tools, SQL, and Postman. The role includes working on projects requiring the development and maintenance of automated regression tests in a hybrid work environment based in Warsaw, Poland.

• Experience at the Senior QA Engineer or Test Automation Engineer level
• Experience automating tests for business or banking applications
• Strong knowledge of Java and Selenium for creating stable, maintainable automated scripts
• Experience in automating regression, control, and interface tests
• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent test automation tools
• Ability to write and maintain test code according to best practices and version control principles
• Proficiency with Git and tools supporting continuous integration processes
• Knowledge of SQL for test preparation and analysis
• Experience with Postman and testing services and interfaces
• Ability to analyze automation results and effectively identify sources of problems related to the application, environment, or test data
• Experience working in environments with limited data availability and numerous integration dependencies

• Participation in a project focused on building and developing test automation for critical business processes
• Designing and implementing automated regression tests for key business process paths
• Building a minimal regression package for MVP and expanding automated regression tests
• Selecting scenarios for automation in collaboration with manual testers, business representatives, and test area owners
• Preparing, maintaining, and developing automated scripts following best practices in test code management
• Analyzing automation results and identifying causes of test failures, distinguishing application errors, environment issues, and test data anomalies
• Integrating automation with application build and deployment processes when the project environment allows
• Preparing recommendations for stabilizing test data and environments
• Participating in the work of a self-organizing Agile team
