Google Cloud Migration Architect

VIRTUSA is hiring a Google Cloud Migration Architect to lead large-scale migrations to BigQuery and build end-to-end AI applications. The role involves working remotely within Poland with monthly business trips across the EU region.

• Extensive experience as a GCP Data Architect
• Deep expertise in legacy environments, specifically Teradata (required)
• Oracle/Exadata experience preferred
• Proven track record in Cloud Database, Data Lake, and end-to-end data migration strategies
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and DataProc
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Advanced SQL tuning for complex workload optimization

• Lead large-scale migrations to BigQuery as a GCP Data Architect
• Build and scale end-to-end AI applications
• Integrate automated workflows
• Design intuitive front-end interfaces
• Diagnose architectural bottlenecks and propose AI-driven optimizations
• Communicate directly with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional code
• Support Data Streaming SIG initiatives

This is a remote project within Poland with business trips among EU region once a month.
