Senior IT Architect / Azure Solution Architect

DCG is a recruitment company focused on providing experienced professionals and continuous support to meet business needs. The company undertakes numerous recruitment projects for its partners and offers private medical care, sports card co-financing, dedicated consultant support, and an employee referral program.

• At least 7 years of professional experience in IT architecture, solution architecture, software engineering or a similar technology-focused role
• Microsoft Azure certification, preferably Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong experience in designing and setting up enterprise applications on Azure Kubernetes Service
• Experience in designing and setting up enterprise database solutions using Azure PostgreSQL
• Experience in designing and setting up integrations using Kafka for applications hosted in Azure
• Excellent understanding of IT solution architecture
• Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and practices
• Strong software engineering background and ability to understand modern application design
• Strong business understanding and ability to translate business needs into architecture decisions
• Excellent conceptual thinking and ability to create clear target pictures, roadmaps and architecture recommendations
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build consensus across different organisational levels
• Proactive mindset, ownership and ability to guide architectural change in a complex enterprise environment
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

• Define, develop and drive IT architecture vision, roadmaps and target architecture in alignment with business and IT strategy
• Design and govern architecture principles, standards, best practices and common change initiatives within the assigned area
• Analyse stakeholder requirements and maintain an overview of the current application and IT infrastructure landscape, including key gaps and improvement areas
• Support the design and implementation of enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure, especially using Azure Kubernetes Service
• Provide architectural guidance for Azure-based database solutions, including Azure PostgreSQL
• Support integration architecture based on Kafka and cloud-native application patterns
• Drive strategic architecture discussions focused on reducing complexity, improving agility, lowering risk, increasing cost efficiency and strengthening business capabilities
• Build consensus among stakeholders by clearly explaining trade-offs, architectural decisions and recommended approaches
• Cooperate closely with other architects, engineering teams and business stakeholders to improve architecture across multiple areas
• Guide stakeholders in resolving architectural issues and ensuring alignment with the agreed target picture
• Ensure delivery according to quality expectations, internal standards and agreed timelines
• Mentor others, share knowledge and contribute to the overall architectural maturity of the organisation
