Senior Test Automation Engineer

ASTEK Polska is hiring for a Senior Test Automation Engineer role based in Warsaw, working in a hybrid model with 8 days per month in the office. The project focuses on building and developing test automation for key business processes, aiming to create an effective regression test suite for MVP and ensure stable automation to reduce regression risks in deployments.

• Several years of experience in test automation.
• Experience building and maintaining automated regression tests.
• Ability to create scalable and maintainable test solutions.
• Knowledge of best practices in test code architecture and maintenance.
• Experience testing business applications or complex systems.
• Ability to work in integration environments with limited test data availability.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with technical and business teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial sectors.
• Knowledge of integration testing and end-to-end processes.
• Experience building test frameworks from scratch.

• Design and develop automated regression tests for key business processes.
• Build and maintain a minimal regression test suite for MVP.
• Automate control and regression tests.
• Identify and select scenarios for automation in collaboration with manual testers, business, and project teams.
• Create, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Analyze automated test results and diagnose failure causes.
• Distinguish application errors from environment, integration, or test data issues.
• Prepare test execution reports and quality improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and teams responsible for environments and test data.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD processes.

Position requires availability immediately or with a maximum one-month notice period. Work location is hybrid in Warsaw with 8 days per month in the office.
