React Native Developer

• Proven experience with React Native mobile app development, including the New Architecture.
• Strong portfolio of complex, large-scale apps.
• In-depth understanding of client-server architectures with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Expo and managed/bare workflows.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern front-end technologies.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand) and navigation frameworks (React Navigation, Expo Router).
• Knowledge of native module integration and performance optimization.
• Experience with unit and integration testing; familiarity with Jest and React Native Testing Library is a plus.
• Experience using AI coding tools and reviewing AI-generated code.
• Strong written English and experience in asynchronous, remote-first environments.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and code quality.
• Self-directed and organized with Git proficiency.

• Develop mobile applications using React Native and the New Architecture (Fabric, JSI, TurboModules).
• Work with Expo managed and bare workflows.
• Integrate native modules and optimize performance, including profiling with Hermes.
• Perform unit and integration testing, using tools like Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development and critically review AI-generated code.
• Break work into small increments to deliver features quickly.
• Communicate blockers proactively and work effectively in agile, remote-first environments.
• Manage priorities independently and follow Git branching and code review practices.
