Senior UI Designer (contract)

• Experience using design systems on large consumer-facing brands.
• Demonstrable eCommerce experience.
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Creative, meticulous, and detail-oriented with a keen sense of craftsmanship.
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to present concepts and design decisions.
• Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated.
• Willingness to adapt, take on new challenges, and continuously improve.
• Passion for technology and web-based applications.
• Experience working in a digital or creative agency or in-house design studio.
• Degree in Graphic/UI design or similar discipline.
• Compelling portfolio demonstrating high-quality online design, including eCommerce.
• Outstanding eye for design and typography.

Nice to have:

• Experience with design tokens.
• Animation and video experience (Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro).

• Create digital brand look and feel and design pixel-perfect responsive interfaces for clients.
• Work with design systems to create scalable design work.
• Apply user-centred design best practices, conversion design, and accessibility principles.
• Maintain high standards of design quality that impress clients and resonate within the eCommerce landscape.
• Work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, staying updated with the latest technology, design trends, and tooling.
• Communicate design ideas and solutions to clients and team members, confidently defending design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, fellow designers, UX consultants, product managers, and developers.
