Principal Software Engineer

pubGENIUS is a US-based software development agency and Ad Tech startup founded by an ex-Microsoft engineer, leading a team of Software Engineers globally. Since 2018, they have worked on over 80 projects, specializing in web and mobile app development across sectors including Defi, fintech, healthcare, education, and e-commerce. The company offers fractional CTO services and focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.

• Strong, production-proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with React in a server-side rendering context
• Proficiency in MySQL including database design, query optimization, and ORM usage
• Experience with BigQuery for large-scale data management
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and Load Balancing
• Nice to have: ad-tech industry experience, affiliate marketing tools (Anura, Everflow), Cloudflare CDN and Workers, Fastify 5, Flutter, Golang or Rust, machine learning applied to ad-tech, fintech experience

• End-to-end technical ownership of a high-revenue web platform and mobile app
• Architecture design and long-term technical strategy
• Manage server-side rendering pipeline using Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19
• Oversee data layer across MySQL and BigQuery
• Manage GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Global Load Balancer
• Integrate ad-tech systems
• Optimize performance at scale
• Maintain and optimize ML pipeline for ad-tech performance
