Senior 4GL Developer (SAS Viya)

• Experience working in SAS environments (SAS 9.x or SAS Viya)
• Strong programming skills in SAS 4GL
• Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL data processing
• Practical knowledge of working with large data volumes (data warehouses, production environments)
• Ability to analyze SAS logs and diagnose processing errors (DATA Step, batch jobs, schedulers)
• Experience maintaining and developing existing SAS systems in production
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and SQL
• Skills in query optimization and improving SAS process performance
• Familiarity with Linux environment (server work, scripting, task automation)
• Good communication and collaboration skills in technical and business teams

• Creating, developing, and maintaining applications and processes in SAS (4GL) technology
• Implementing and optimizing ETL processes and data transformations
• Developing SAS DATA Step, PROC SQL, and SAS macros code
• Working with SAS Viya platform and Cloud Analytic Services (CAS)
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Integrating data from banking systems and data warehouses
• Monitoring batch processes and analyzing processing errors
• Optimizing performance of processes and queries handling large data volumes
• Collaborating with analytical teams, data architects, and business owners
• Participating in migration to SAS Viya and Azure environments
