Backend Developer - Mid/Senior Level - full Home Office

Their courses are very popular and designed with passion and focus on children's development. The company is expanding internationally and developing breakthrough AI-based tools.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Backend Developer.
• Very good practical knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Proficient in at least one programming language: JavaScript (Node.js) and readiness to work with the preferred stack (TypeScript).
• Experience with cloud solutions, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and understanding of their architecture.
• Good knowledge of Git version control system and related practices.
• Solid experience in designing, creating, and securing APIs (e.g., RESTful API).
• Analytical thinking skills, ability to solve problems independently, and make technical decisions.
• Strong interest in AI, willingness to continuously expand knowledge in this area, and awareness of the latest trends and tools.
• Proactivity, responsibility for assigned tasks, and commitment to delivering high-quality code.

Nice to have:

• Experience with specific Google Cloud tools (e.g., CloudRun, CloudSQL, BigQuery, Dataform, Looker Studio/Data Studio).
• Experience with Google Cloud AI/ML tools (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, Cloud AI Platform).
• Experience with Google Sheets and Google Apps Script.
• Experience with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) or ETL tools.
• Knowledge of other databases, e.g., NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Develop and optimize backend for web applications and manage efficient APIs.
• Independently design, create, and maintain code ensuring effective data transfer between various company systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain advanced solutions automating key business processes such as email/SMS notifications, report generation, and document flow automation.
• Integrate data from existing systems with newly implemented solutions, ensuring data consistency and quality.
• Actively seek and implement AI-based solutions to optimize processes, generate reports, and create new functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with other IT team members, including Lead Full-Stack Developer and Data Analysts, as well as business units.
