Senior Java Backend Engineer (m/f/n)

• At least 7 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST, Microservices, Terraform, SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elastic)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure Service Bus
• Experience with cloud architecture, preferably Azure
• Experience in Agile development environments and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (degree in mathematics or similar is a plus)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to take responsibility
• Independence and proactive approach to process automation and optimization
• Ability to communicate results understandably to business stakeholders

• Develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate closely with business departments to enhance customer experience
• Work in interdisciplinary teams on new functionalities and feature improvements
• Participate in brainstorming and software design decisions
• Provide feedback and share knowledge with the team and other developers
• Work in a highly motivated, self-organized Scrum team
