Data Engineer Graph Databases

Makeitright Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Data Engineer specializing in graph databases for a strategic project with one of the largest banks in Poland. The role involves working with Neo4j, Big Data technologies, and modern cloud solutions, including Generative AI, within a Data & AI expert team.

• Practical experience with Neo4j.
• Strong knowledge of graph theory and graph data modeling.
• Experience optimizing graph database performance.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Google Pub/Sub).
• Experience with Big Data solutions using Generative AI.
• Practical knowledge of Google BigQuery.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Apache Spark, especially Google Cloud Dataproc.
• Knowledge of Apache Beam and Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Knowledge of AutomateNow.
• Basic knowledge of Rust.

• Design, develop, and optimize solutions based on graph databases (Neo4j).
• Model graph structures and optimize query and data model performance.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines feeding data platforms.
• Build solutions in the Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Create and develop event-driven architecture using Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Collaborate on designing modern Big Data solutions utilizing Generative AI.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes and deployment automation.
• Work with architects, data scientists, and development teams.
