Senior Network Engineer

The role is within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, focusing on IT Infrastructure & Operations. The position involves working remotely with onboarding onsite in France.

• Strong expertise in network security and firewall administration.
• Solid command of routing and switching protocols including VLAN, STP, OSPF/BGP (preferred).
• Advanced administration of firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or equivalent in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with rule management, hardening, network segmentation, application filtering, and SSL inspection.
• Ability to detect, analyze, and remediate network security incidents.
• Deep understanding of multisite architectures and WAN interconnections.
• Proven experience deploying end-to-end network and security solutions.
• Mastery of monitoring tools, flow analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Minimum 7 years in a Network/Security engineering role.
• Hands-on experience delivering technical projects, ideally in multi-site environments.

• Participate in the deployment and go-live of new network and security solutions (SASE).
• Implement new sites, migrate legacy architectures, modernize LAN/WAN, and deploy Zero Trust segmentation.
• Contribute to major projects such as SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, and secure Wi-Fi enhancement.
• Produce high-quality documentation including project documents, procedures, operational guides, and failover plans.
• Handle Level 2/3 support for complex network and security incidents.
• Ensure operational continuity for infrastructures including switching, routing, Wi-Fi, VPN, and security.
• Maintain configuration consistency across all sites.
