Credit Risk Data Engineer

We’re one of ING's global competence centres located in Katowice and Warsaw. We design and deliver technological and operational solutions for global banking with end-to-end expertise, focusing on technology, cybersecurity, financial and non-financial risk, and compliance.

• Experience working with Oracle Databases, SAS Data Integration Studio, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Strong interest and understanding of data, systems, regulation, and technology, especially data lake architecture.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.

• Driving the technical activities with the team and ensuring the engines run smoothly and comply with the latest policy updates.
• Liaising with Credit Risk Functional Analysts and modelers to ensure proper implementation of functional requirements.
• Understanding the complex Credit Risk Data Landscape regarding credit risk models (PD, EAD, LGD) and engines (DOD, etc.).
• Managing priority and incidents: ensuring incidents are logged, tackled, and communicated appropriately.
• Contributing to the implementation of target tooling and data landscape to build seamless flows and efficient tooling for Risk and Business tribes.
• Playing a key role in the digitalization of Risk.
• Contributing to various projects and collaborating with multiple teams within the bank.
