Senior Software Engineer (Java / Kotlin) - Allegro Ads

Join the Advertising team at Allegro, working on Allegro Ads, a highly visible product on the platform. The team collaborates closely with the Machine Learning team to create the best experience for customers, focusing on high performance and engineering best practices. The role involves working within a growing team influencing technical vision and shaping new projects in a cloud-native environment.

• Experience coding in Kotlin or Scala
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Kafka
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and Spark
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, including database migrations and API integrations
• Enthusiasm for AI and staying at the forefront of technical innovation
• English language proficiency at least at B2 level
• (Nice to have) Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development

• Code in Kotlin or Scala using Spring Boot and Kafka to build backend systems
• Manage high-velocity data pipelines with Apache Airflow and Spark
• Design database integrations and perform migrations using PostgreSQL
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to implement complex models
• Build tools and dashboards to help users understand campaign performance
• Influence technical vision and contribute to new projects within the ecosystem
• (Optional) Assist in building frontend reporting components using React and TypeScript
