Upvanta is offering a position for an IT Solutions Architect responsible for designing and developing IT architecture supporting payment areas and banking systems.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Solutions Architect.
• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN 2.0.
• Experience with CASE tools, especially Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of SOA architecture, microservices, microfrontends, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Analytical thinking with business and technological perspective.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in at least two of the following technologies: Kubernetes (K8S), Oracle, Java, SOAP, REST, GraphQL, Angular, MongoDB, Kafka, Camunda, cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of system and technical architecture of banks or financial institutions.
• Communicative English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of payment processes and systems in banking sector: SEPA, Elixir, SWIFT, SORBNET3, TARGET2, domestic and international transfers, card payments.
• Knowledge of data architecture.
• Certifications or completed training in TOGAF® 9.

• Preparing solution architecture for IT projects at the software architecture level.
• Identifying applications requiring creation or modification to meet business requirements.
• Designing and documenting data flows between systems.
• Creating architectural documentation including UML diagrams (Component Diagram, Sequence Diagram).
• Defining infrastructure requirements arising from projects.
• Selecting technologies according to organizational standards.
• Participating in business analysis acceptance and feasibility assessment of requirements.
• Coordinating the work of IT system designers.
• Verifying project documentation for compliance with solution architecture.
• Participating in software supplier selection processes (RFP, offer analysis, recommendations).
• Collaborating with suppliers on solution architecture and integration design.
• Creating and developing solution architecture standards.
• Analyzing risks for changes implemented in IT systems.
