Junior QA Specialist

MasterBorn works with startups in their early stages (MVPs), focusing on crafting innovative solutions using a tech stack built around React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript. The company emphasizes manual testing with priority on API, acceptance, and end-to-end testing.

• 6-12 months of experience as QA working with teams that develop software in an agile environment
• Experience in exploratory tests
• SQL basics, familiarity with relational databases
• Knowledge of Jira or other agile project management tools
• Basic knowledge about API
• Basic knowledge about dev-tools in browsers
• Curiosity about AI and interest in AI-driven solutions that enhance work efficiency
• Practical knowledge of using AI in projects
• Good command of English (min. B2) and excellent command of Polish (min. C1)
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Detail-oriented and quality-centered approach to software development
• Problem-solving mindset and solid communication skills

Nice to have:

• ISEB/ISTQB certificate
• Ability to spot UI/UX imperfections or flaws
• Experience in cooperation with the client

• Participating in the design and implementation of modern business applications for external clients
• Manual testing, building test scenarios, test cases, user scenarios, and bug reporting
• Working closely with Developers, Proxy Product Owner, and Product Designers to assure high quality
• Focusing on quality-oriented rather than defect-oriented testing
• Executing test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences
