DevOps Engineer with GCP

• Experience building cloud services on a CSP, ideally Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of SDN within cloud platforms (VPCs, XPN, routing, firewalls)
• Expert-level understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and related tools
• Knowledge of IAM concepts (ADFS, OAuth)
• Familiarity with cloud compliance, auditing, and monitoring tools
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON processing, API integrations
• Ability to build strong relationships with application teams, cross-functional IT, and global/local engineering teams
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to support application deployments
• Engineer cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided cloud services including IAM, Networking, Logging, Operating systems, and Containers
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security standards
• Ensure compliance with Operational Risk standards (Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)
• Maintain and update support/operational documentation
• Follow and enforce correct Change Management processes as per central guidelines
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support outside business hours
