Java Developer

Scalo is a company involved in projects related to digital banking and mobile banking ecosystems, including the IKO ecosystem. The role involves working in a large, distributed organization on advanced backend systems and microservice architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Java (versions 17–21) and Spring Boot 3
• Experience with Maven and building applications based on microservice architecture
• Knowledge of OpenAPI 3 standard and API design
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and tools like Flyway and jOOQ
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and OpenShift
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Spock; Groovy is a plus
• Comfortable working in complex, large systems and dynamic project environments
• Interest in modern technologies including cloud, AI, data, and analytics

• Develop and maintain advanced backend systems based on Java (17–21) and Spring Boot 3

• Work on solutions used by millions of users in digital and mobile banking, including the IKO ecosystem
• Implement and optimize processes using tools such as Flowable, Flyway, and jOOQ
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL-based systems
• Automate and develop CI/CD pipelines and work in containerized environments (Docker, OpenShift, Ansible)
• Participate in projects related to digital transformation, cloud development, and modern IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to create new financial services and automate processes
• Work in a hybrid model with at least one meeting per week at the client office in Warsaw
