Senior Design Engineer, Embedded Agreements

• Strong experience in both design and front-end engineering with a portfolio of shipped interfaces or widely-used components.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and experience working close to API surfaces and developer tooling.
• Genuine interest in developer experience and understanding of well-designed APIs.
• Active and opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code with a clear approach to production-quality output.
• Ability to build from zero, set direction without templates, and partner with product on market direction.

• Own the design of API and integrations areas end to end, including developer-facing API surfaces and in-product user flows.
• Partner with product and research to shape strategy based on market and audience shifts.
• Design and prototype AI-native patterns for API, including ChatGPT app, Claude connector, and MCP integration.
• Shape integration experiences, balancing core CRM integrations and customer-orchestrated connections.
• Prototype ideas rapidly in code, creating production-grade React components with attention to layout, interaction, accessibility, and performance.
• Establish and trailblaze the Design Engineer function at PandaDoc, owning work from problem framing to launch.
• Collaborate with designers to share technical perspectives and improve their technical skills.
• Work AI-first using Cursor and Claude Code, advocating for high-quality output from these tools.

This position is fully remote. Candidates based in Poland, Portugal, or Ukraine may use local offices.
