Code Sorceress/Sorcerer (Low-Level C++ Programmer)

MATABOO is a Polish company based in Warsaw specializing in co-development, porting, remasters, remakes, optimization, and bug fixing for game developers and publishers. They work closely with renowned studios such as Warner Bros. Games, Rocksteady, Paradox Interactive, Frogwares, GSC Game World, and others, supporting titles like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights, and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.

• At least 4 years of experience as a low-level C++ programmer.
• Excellent understanding of hardware and OS internals including memory management, threading, CPU architecture, and inter-process communication.
• Specialization in one or more areas: Rendering, Memory management, CPU/GPU optimization, Consoles, Multiplayer, and networking systems.
• Very good knowledge of C++, x86/x64 platforms, and principles of object-oriented and data-oriented programming.
• Programming or IT education.
• Good command of the English language.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Knowledge of Unity or proprietary engines.
• Experience in multithreaded programming, tool development, debugging, profiling, code and memory optimization.
• Knowledge of DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, or Metal.
• Experience with multiplayer and network code.
• Development experience with consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).
• Experience in creating games, emulators, or demoscene productions.

• Work on transferring games between different platforms.
• Create new and extend existing gameplay functionalities.
• Optimize game performance.
• Expand the existing game engine with new functions.
• Create documentation of the work performed.
