Wymagania
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped UX work on at least 2 PC/console games, showing player flows, HUD logic, menu system structure, and controller navigation.
- Strong experience designing player flows and user journeys, thinking in systems and sequences.
- Knowledge of console UX specifics including controller navigation, target sizing, platform conventions (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), and accessibility.
- Comfortable working with a design system as a single source of truth, collaborating with UI/art teams.
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine and understanding of engine constraints affecting UX decisions.
- Understanding of game feel as UX, including sound, animation, colour, and timing.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, defining functional standards and driving UX quality.
- Genuine interest in games with knowledge of 5+ titles from the last 2 years across genres.
- Proficiency in English at B2/C1+ level, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Visual UI design skills including mockups, component libraries, iconography, and style guides.
- Experience with simulation, sandbox, or vehicle-themed games.
- Experience running or participating in UX playtests and analysing results.
- Formal education in UX, HCI, or related field.
- Understanding of player psychology and behavioural patterns.
- Foundations in game design to participate in design discussions.
- Basic programming knowledge or Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.
- Motion design skills for prototyping UI animations and transitions.
Obowiązki
- Designing player flows and user journeys for features across projects, documented and approved before implementation.
- Maintaining a shared design system as the single source of truth for UI implementation, ensuring consistency across features.
- Owning UX review before every milestone, reviewing features for usability, consistency, and player clarity.
- Collaborating closely with Game Design, participating in design meetings and reviewing spikes.
- Designing solutions within Unreal Engine constraints that are feasible to implement.
- Supporting playtesting methodology by defining UX success criteria, observing playtests, and translating findings into design changes.
- Ensuring consistent UX quality across PC and console, designing for keyboard/mouse and controller.
- Defining and enforcing Definition of Done for UX/UI deliverables.
