Senior Performance Java Engineer

The position is for a client in the banking industry, focusing on performance engineering for complex Core Banking solutions.

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Proficient in performance testing tools and methodologies (JMeter).
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., AppDynamics).
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis of Weblogic applications.
• Familiarity with web server configurations and optimization.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

• Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in Java/Weblogic application performance.
• Develop and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance speed, responsiveness, and scalability of Java/Weblogic applications.
• Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and implement performance enhancements and optimizations.
• Monitor and analyse web application performance metrics using monitoring tools and systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, both proactively and reactively, and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web application performance engineering.
