Machine Learning Engineer - Allegro Pay

Allegro Pay is Central Europe’s largest and fastest-growing FinTech, part of Allegro, the most popular shopping platform in Poland and one of the largest e-commerce companies in Europe. The role supports a product with over a dozen million active users, focusing on purchase financing and payment methods.

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical major.
• At least 2 years of experience building ML-driven solutions.
• Proficient in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Experience with AI-assisted programming tools (Opencode, Codex, Claude).
• Experience with Python-based orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Good analytical skills and knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding and application of DevOps principles.
• Practical understanding of statistical and machine learning methods, especially decision trees and neural networks.
• Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership of code.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the .NET ecosystem.
• Knowledge of cloud-based MLOps tools such as AzureML, Google Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with SQL-based data transformation frameworks like dbt.

• Develop a modern MLOps ecosystem to automate building and deploying machine learning models.
• Design and implement a platform for training predictive models including classifiers, deep neural networks, and graph models.
• Deploy models to production and optimize deployment pipelines to enable Data Scientists’ self-service.
• Manage, monitor, and recalibrate models deployed to production.
• Support work on the Feature Store providing predictors for production models.
• Build connectors with the FinTech AI platform to enable agentic workflows interacting with models and features.
