Workday Consultant (Absence Support)

YourITeams is hiring a Workday Consultant specializing in Absence Support to provide expert-level configuration, support, and advisory services within the Workday HCM system.

• Proven experience working with Workday Absence Management in a functional consulting or internal support role.
• Solid understanding of HR processes, absence policies, and related compliance considerations.
• Practical experience with Workday configuration, business process setup, and security domains relevant to absence functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels and provide clear, structured guidance.
• Experience in testing methodologies, including preparing test cases and executing validation scenarios.
• Relevant certification(s) in Workday or equivalent professional credentials is advantageous.
• Fluent English language skills sufficient for professional communication; additional language skills are a plus.

• Provide day-to-day functional support for Workday Absence Management, including incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and timely resolution.
• Configure and maintain absence-related business processes, eligibility rules, time-off plans, absence calendars, and related integrations.
• Collaborate with HR process owners and payroll teams to align system configuration with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and operational procedures related to absence management.
• Participate in testing activities for system updates, including regression testing and validation of absence scenarios.
• Support deployment and post-deployment activities for absence-related releases and improvements.
• Provide guidance and training to end users and stakeholders on absence functionality and best practices.
• Work with technical teams and integration specialists to troubleshoot data flows and ensure accurate absence-related reporting.
