• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning, including optimization of read and write workloads.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL data modeling and SQL scripting.
• Ability to evaluate database performance, isolate bottlenecks, and implement effective optimizations.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working in production environments supporting transactional systems.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in GCP environments.
• Experience with DataStax Enterprise Service (DSE).
• Familiarity with cloud-based database operations and automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for database environments.

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
• Optimize PostgreSQL configurations and query performance for transactional workloads.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL data models and SQL scripts.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to integrate PostgreSQL into the broader platform ecosystem.
• Monitor database health, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents related to PostgreSQL.
• Support PostgreSQL environments running in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
