HSBC Productivity Suite – UI/UX Lead Designer Group AI Management & Strategy Emerging Technology, Innovation & Ventures

Group AI Management and Strategy (AIMS) team at HSBC is responsible for developing and implementing Group-wide strategic programs to accelerate the commercialisation and delivery of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML). The team focuses on responsible development practices, common platforms, AI technology enablement, governance, and the Group-wide AI Strategy. HSBC is enhancing the utilisation of Generative AI to boost colleagues' productivity through the HSBC Productivity Suite application.

• Strong portfolio showcasing senior-level UX design for digital products including web applications.
• Experience with design systems and using research insights to inform design.
• Knowledge of user research methods.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging users and senior stakeholders.
• Strong ability to analyse data and user behaviour and translate insights into strategic design actions.
• Proactive, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about technology advancements.
• Comfortable using English in day-to-day work including discussions and presentations.

• Design user experiences aligned with HSBC Productivity Suite objectives to meet colleagues' needs and drive productivity.
• Rapidly prototype features and designs from high-level requirements to support agile prioritisation, discussion, and delivery.
• Apply customer experience best practices, libraries, and frameworks to maintain design standards and deliver exceptional user experience.
• Ensure interfaces are functional and visually intuitive, maintaining rigorous design excellence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and users to deliver design solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs.
• Leverage user feedback to gain insights into requirements, trends, and habits to inform design decisions.
• Participate in research processes for new flows and features.
• Conduct user interviews as part of usability testing to gather feedback, understand behaviours and pain points, and refine designs.
