Senior Software Development Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID, and KISS principles
• Strong understanding of SDLC
• Experience with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Proficient in developing unit, API, and integration tests
• Active user of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, MCP servers
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for data ingestion and transformation
• Collaborate with team members, other teams, and product managers to meet sprint goals
• Analyze and improve existing processes and solutions
• Proactively contribute to the team's AI initiatives and adoption efforts
• Drive continuous improvements focusing on efficiency, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
