Senior Business Analyst

• Hands-on experience with data analysis and tools such as SQL, Python, or Tableau.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally within lending fraud or financial crime.
• Strong understanding of corporate lending and financial crime risk management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Nice to have:

• Experience in consulting, risk management, or regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of financial crime regulations and industry best practices.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze processes, systems, and data to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
• Work with data science teams to analyze complex datasets and identify fraud patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Support development of machine learning initiatives by defining features, success metrics, and validation approaches.
• Evaluate existing controls and recommend improvements to enhance fraud risk management.
• Monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
