Senior Oracle Database Administrator

We build and maintain the middleware systems that support Toyota’s digital systems and mobility solutions. Our work supports multiple applications used for in‑car multimedia services, EV charging platforms, factory digitalization, data‑driven projects and online sales technologies. By ensuring continuous service availability and integrating key tools, we enable teams across Europe to develop and operate digital solutions reliably.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience managing Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Professional certification such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in Oracle database architecture, administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with database security protocols and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite, IAM and OID is a plus.
• Experience with cloud database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Microsoft Azure).
• Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with other database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Utilization of monitoring (e.g., Datadog) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python) for database administration.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions, preferably Cohesity.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of database and data integration professionals.
• Proven ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders across departments.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Adaptability to evolving technology trends and changing business requirements.

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Monitor database performance, conduct regular tuning, and troubleshoot complex issues to optimize efficiency.
• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to protect organizational data.
• Manage database security by enforcing access controls, auditing, and compliance with data protection policies.
• Plan and perform upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize SQL queries and support development projects.
• Document database architecture, policies, and best practices for internal use and compliance.

Job Type: undefined time period contract. Starting date: Position available since September 2026. Location: Wrocław, Silver Tower Office Center. Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in the office, in line with the need. Reporting line: MW manager / Team Lead.
