Senior DevOps Engineer/OpenShift SME

• Expert knowledge of Proxmox VE, including clustering, high availability, and the Proxmox API.
• Deep experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) 4.x, including cluster installation (UPI/IPI), monitoring, and node management.
• Practical experience with distributed storage solutions such as Ceph (RBD/CephFS) or ZFS, including tuning for high-performance etcd and application data.
• Advanced skills in Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Helm for templating application deployments.
• Understanding of Zero-Trust security principles, including mTLS, cert-manager, and OIDC/Keycloak integration.

Proxmox-OpenShift Integration:

• Architect the deployment of OpenShift on Proxmox VE.
• Configure the Proxmox CSI for dynamic provisioning of persistent volumes on Ceph or ZFS.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Build and maintain a fully automated pipeline using Terraform and Ansible to provision OpenShift nodes.
• Ensure the environment is reproducible and managed as "cattle, not pets."

Security & Hardening:

• Enforce Pod Security Admissions (PSA) and Security Context Constraints (SCC) to run containers as non-root.
• Implement NetworkPolicies to isolate workloads within the cluster.
