Fullstack Developer (Kotlin+Java+React)

Scalo is involved in projects related to e-commerce, focusing on the development of modern solutions based on microservice architecture. The technology stack includes Kotlin, Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, InfluxDB, Kibana, Grafana, Sensu, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.

• Minimum 4 years of experience programming in Java and working with the Spring framework
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin
• Experience designing and implementing microservices
• Ability to create user interfaces in React and integrate them with backend layers
• Understanding of system architecture and ability to deliver end-to-end functionalities independently
• Experience in writing unit tests and working with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Responsibility for solution quality and maintaining high code standards
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools related to containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, AWS, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and AWS cloud solutions
• Proficiency in English for fluent communication in speech and writing
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and understanding their values and principles

Nice to have:

• Experience in e-commerce or finance projects

• Design, implement, deliver, and maintain backend solutions including REST APIs and user interfaces for back-office applications
• Participate in analysis, estimation, and project planning in collaboration with other teams
• Collaborate closely with QA teams to integrate tools and quality assurance processes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, testing, and deployment
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Work according to Infrastructure as Code principles and contribute to technical documentation including C4 diagrams
• Participate in Agile (Scrum) self-organizing team activities
• Maintain existing applications and actively work on reducing technical debt
