The role supports a major transformation programme across Europe, focusing on coordination and engagement with the European Works Council (EWC) and Local Works Councils (LWCs). It involves ensuring effective consultation processes, governance compliance, and alignment across HR, programme teams, and key stakeholders.

Wymagania

  • Proven experience working with European and/or Local Works Councils in complex transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Experience collaborating with HR, Legal, Employee Relations, and programme management teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and governance management capabilities
  • Fluent English required

Obowiązki

EWC & LWC coordination:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end engagement cycle for EWC and LWC forums in line with agreed governance cadence
  • Act as the central point of coordination between programme teams, HR, Legal, and Works Council bodies
  • Maintain a forward engagement plan covering EWC and all in-scope LWCs
  • Track key milestones, submissions, and approvals related to Works Council engagements

Preparation & Content management:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly EWC and LWC presentation packs ensuring clear, consistent, fact-based messaging
  • Align messaging with programme status and decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and consultation requirements
  • Consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Ensure all materials are reviewed, aligned, and approved ahead of Works Council sessions

HR alignment (local, regional, area):

  • Drive close alignment with Local, Regional, and Area HR teams for consistent interpretation of impacts and messaging
  • Support HR in preparing country-specific narratives and impact summaries
  • Ensure escalation of misalignment or concerns through governance channels

Governance & Compliance support:

  • Ensure Works Council engagements follow agreed governance, timings, and processes
  • Maintain a single source of truth for EWC/LWC materials, decisions, actions, and feedback
  • Support audit-ready documentation of consultation processes and outcomes
  • Flag risks, delays, or compliance concerns proactively

Stakeholder management & Communication:

  • Build effective working relationships with HR, programme teams, Legal, and Employee Relations
  • Act as a trusted coordination partner ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
  • Support follow-ups, feedback tracking, and action closure post EWC/LWC sessions

Explicitly out of scope:

  • Negotiation or agreement with Works Councils
  • Final decision-making authority on programme scope or people impacts
  • Ownership of programme delivery or execution
  • Legal interpretation or representation (remains with HR / Legal)
