Application and Integration Architect

• Master's degree
• Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent technical knowledge of integration platforms such as Tibco or Mulesoft, SOA, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence concepts, systems integration, Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience designing systems and applications in UML
• Experience using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
• Experience with hybrid systems and applications integration
• Expertise in architecting systems integration on data and API level
• Expertise in designing enterprise level integration platform connectors, flows, and services bus solutions
• Expertise in planning capacity and security of integration platform capabilities
• Experience with modelling in Archimate
• Knowledge of European Interoperability Framework or other interinstitutional frameworks
• Experience applying architecture styles and patterns
• Experience aligning application development with business needs
• Experience as key architect in development of at least one enterprise-wide integration platform deployment
• Experience as an application architect, preferably in public sector or EU agencies environment
• Familiarity with integration patterns, standards and models
• Familiarity with serverless and containerisation platforms in cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Familiarity with architecture standards or frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar
• Familiarity with DevSecOps approach
• At least 2 certifications among: Iasa Architect CITA-A or equivalent; Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent; Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals or equivalent; TIBCO Certified Associate or equivalent; Certified SOA Architect or equivalent; Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of English language (B2)

• Designs and communicates enterprise wide databases architecture
• Designs databases architectures, schemas, analytic platform and BI services, data governance
• Elicits needs, analyses requirements
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into architectures
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
• Analyses available systems, applications and services
• Identifies options for potential solutions
• Maintains and tracks architecture in systems lifecycle
• Estimates and sizes network infrastructure in accordance with system and business application requirements
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management
• Prepares system documentation and provides presentations
• Leads development teams and development processes
• Selects and evaluates technologies
• Collects and interprets system metrics
• Optimizes system from performance, security and quality points of view
• Contributes to Enterprise Architecture repository and manages required artifacts
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory requirements and supports implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
