Infrastructure & Platform Manager

Klient justjoin.it is hiring a Senior Infrastructure & Platform Manager with a strong engineering background in development, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering. The role involves managing infrastructure, developer environments, and architectural standards in an organization with its own development teams.

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in development, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering in software development organizations.
• Very good knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including architectural, operational, and security aspects.
• Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations including deployment automation and application environment maintenance.
• Practical experience designing, maintaining, or developing infrastructure environments including on-premise and cloud solutions.
• Ability to define and implement technical standards, processes, and best practices in infrastructure and platform technologies.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure security, access management, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing a technical team responsible for infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or developer environments or documented success managing a narrower technical area or project team.
• Highly developed ownership mentality, independence, and experience leading initiatives requiring multi-team collaboration.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level for documentation, email communication, security requirements analysis, and technical meetings with clients/partners.

• Manage the Infrastructure & Platform team responsible for IT, infrastructure, and developer environments.
• Ensure smooth operation of internal infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, and user support services.
• Manage developer environments based on Azure and IaaS infrastructure used by project teams.
• Build, maintain, and develop architectural standards for infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Standardize cloud environments, develop DevOps processes, and build a consistent collaboration model with project teams.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and tech leads on deployment, maintenance, and Platform Engineering development.
• Design, implement, and develop DevOps processes and solutions supporting deployment automation and application environment maintenance.
• Be responsible for technical aspects of security, compliance, and meeting regulatory standards.
• Cooperate with project teams, clients, and compliance teams regarding infrastructure, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
