SAP PLM Consultant

Devire IT Outsourcing cooperates with IT professionals on a B2B basis, implementing projects for clients running innovative and modern projects. The client is a global leader in the installation industry, seeking a SAP PLM Consultant due to growing organizational needs.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP PLM Consultant.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering Change Management and Change Records.
• Experience in configuring and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions related to Product Lifecycle Management.
• Good understanding of end-to-end PLM business processes, such as Idea-to-Product and Engineering Change Management.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging and basic ABAP development concepts.
• Experience with SAP customizing.
• Knowledge of integrations with other SAP modules, especially MM and PP.
• Experience working in a global, international team.
• Fluent English.
• Independent, structured, and quality-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and business users.

Nice to have:

• German language skills.

• End-to-end support of the SAP PLM module, including Engineering Change Management and Change Records.
• Supporting integration with adjacent SAP modules, mainly MM and PP.
• Analyzing and optimizing business processes in close cooperation with business and product teams.
• Designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions in the PLM / ECM area.
• Taking part in design and functionality decisions, ensuring alignment with business needs and overall IT strategy.
• Performing SAP customizing and coordinating changes with ABAP Developers.
• Supporting SAP projects such as implementations, migrations, optimizations, and rollouts across all project phases.
• Providing 1st and 2nd level support for users and key users across the Viega Group.
• Preparing technical and functional documentation.
• Supporting the business during User Acceptance Testing.
• Cooperating with global business and IT teams to ensure effective SAP usage, product data integrity, and efficient change management processes.
