The IBM Center of Excellence in Krakow is seeking a Delivery Consultant with expertise in IBM mainframe OS, Mainframe Security, HashiCorp Vault, middleware, and language technology to lead and deliver pre-sales and post-sales client engagements enabling adoption of IBM zSystems.

Wymagania

  • Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS security subsystems (RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret).
  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault including installation, configuration, and policy management.
  • Knowledge of Vault secrets engines (KV, PKI, DB) and credential rotation.
  • Ability to integrate Vault with IBM Z workloads and subsystems such as CICS, DB2, and IMS.
  • Experience managing LPARs in a sysplex and configuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Experience applying PTFs and maintenance updates in IBM Z environments.
  • Familiarity with in-house exits or customizations and their impact on upgrades.
  • Experience consuming secrets via Vault APIs in application pipelines and knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD integration.
  • Understanding of least-privilege access and secure deployment practices; ability to work with auditors.
  • Experience reviewing audit trails and compliance reports (PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX).
  • Incident management skills including root cause analysis for P1 incidents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience managing sysplex environments, JES2/JES3 subsystems, and configuring LPAR connectivity for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Ability to support application teams in secure consumption of secrets and enforcing least-privilege access principles.
  • Dynamic team player comfortable in a small, rapidly evolving environment.

Obowiązki

  • Install and configure Vault on IBM Z platforms, ensuring integration with RACF and other subsystems.
  • Define and maintain authentication methods (RACF, LDAP, Kerberos) to control access to secrets.
  • Create and manage Vault policies and roles to enforce least-privilege access; rotate credentials, certificates, and API keys.
  • Monitor Vault health, performance, and audit logs; escalate issues to IBM support as needed.
  • Coordinate with system programmers to ensure Vault high availability and disaster recovery across sysplex LPARs.
  • Support application teams in consuming secrets via Vault APIs and automating deployments.
  • Review audit trails and compliance reports to verify adherence to regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX).
  • Collaborate with operations teams during upgrades, applying PTFs and validating environment changes.
  • Understand clients' main challenges and develop solutions through design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support phases.
  • Work with customers, IBM Sales, and Business Partners to position, scope, and deliver mainframe platform migration solutions on IBM Z and LinuxONE.
  • Manage sysplex environments, JES2/JES3 subsystems, and configure LPAR connectivity, controllers, and trackers for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Coordinate upgrades and execute test cases in production environments.
  • Perform incident management including root cause analysis for P1 incidents with IBM support.
  • Deliver customer or executive-facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations.
