SRE Technical Lead

Infolet has been supporting IT leaders for 20 years by providing technology, experts, and full operational support, including legalization of stay and work for international IT specialists. They work on projects involving Java, JavaScript, C embedded, C++, PHP specialists, mobile specialists, software testers, network and system administrators, among others.

• 3+ years leading engineers and providing technical direction in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience transforming a team into a high-performing engineering/SRE team.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and observability/monitoring stacks (e.g., AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Open Telemetry).
• Proven experience maintaining highly available, low-latency systems in a regulated industry (preferably banking, fintech, or insurance).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; comfortable working in a multi-cultural/global environment.
• Working experience in Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and within a diverse team environment.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and ownership mindset.

• Lead the SRE team delivering engineering outcomes for critical services and vendor-underpinned platforms.
• Own team delivery end-to-end: demand intake, prioritisation, execution, and reporting.
• Work with Product Owners to define and implement SLOs/SLIs/SLAs to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to embed reliability best practices into the software engineering lifecycle.
• Drive improvements in observability and monitoring; evaluate and introduce tools/technologies that improve reliability and operational efficiency.
• Set and uphold engineering and operational standards (documentation, peer review, quality controls, runbooks) and measure outcomes to improve team performance.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to build capability and uplift engineers into a high-performing engineering function.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the team.
