Applied AI Engineer

deepsense.ai is a 120-person AI/ML consultancy with Anthropic and OpenAI partner credentials. For over a decade they've delivered applied AI projects for companies like J&J, Sky, John Deere, and GLS — spanning LLM applications, agents, MLOps, and data science.

• Minimum 2.5 years of software development experience with solid Python skills.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI in professional, side projects, hackathons, or open source.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, asking questions, and explaining technical work.
• Curiosity and self-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Good English proficiency (B2+) sufficient for client conversations.

Nice to have:

• A project portfolio demonstrating work with LLMs (repo, demo, etc.).
• Experience with agent frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, Pydantic AI, or MCP.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or Docker.
• Experience with RAG, evaluation, or prompt/context engineering.
• Evidence of shipping products such as competition results, open-source contributions, or internal tools used by others.

• Build LLM-powered applications and agents — RAG pipelines, integrations, evaluations — and deploy them in production.
• Turn rough ideas or client needs into working proofs of concept quickly.
• Work directly with clients alongside senior colleagues, participating in discovery, workshops, and demos.
• Write clean, dependable code and ensure the delivered solutions work effectively for users.
• Keep up with new AI models, tools, and patterns, sharing findings with the team.
• Contribute to shared assets such as reusable components, demos, and internal tools.
