Shipment Stores creates a single point of truth for shipment data at KN. It integrates shipment data across transport management systems and modes of transportation. The output ports offer a consolidated view of a shipment fit for both analytics and operations.

• Proficient in Java and Spring framework
• Experience with Quarkus framework
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure including Lambda, DocumentDB, and S3 buckets
• Experience with Apache Flink stream processing, including stateless and stateful concepts
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform, including producer/consumer model, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry (Avro), topic and consumer group management
• Avro schema authoring and evolution rules
• Usage of Schema Registry API

• Implement features and stories with business requirements and logic
• Develop tickets from the sprint
• Ensure good test coverage
• Write code and release it
• Propose improvements to the architecture
• Maintain proper code quality and refactoring
• Fine tune product performance
