Senior PHP Developer (Joomla CMS)

DCG is a recruitment company managing numerous projects for its partners, focusing on matching competencies to business needs with a flexible and supportive management style.

• Over 5 years of experience in PHP programming (version 7 or newer) with security standards knowledge
• Experience with PHP 8.2, having completed at least two projects using this version
• Practical knowledge of Git/GitLab with at least 3 years of experience or 5 projects
• Practical experience developing Joomla CMS 4+ components, modules, and plugins (at least 2 of each)
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript and React.js with at least 3 years of experience or 3 projects
• Experience with Joomla template system development using JavaScript and React.js
• Experience writing unit tests with PHPUnit (at least 1 year or 2 projects)
• Experience writing unit tests for React.js using Jest and testing-library (at least 1 year or 2 projects)

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of Symfony framework (versions 3–6+)
• Practical knowledge of REST communication and API development
• Knowledge of databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of design patterns used in PHP and JavaScript

• Design, develop, and maintain applications based on PHP (7+/8.2) and Joomla CMS 4+
• Create and develop Joomla components, modules, and plugins
• Develop frontend layers using JavaScript and React.js and integrate with backend
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and solutions
• Propose and implement improvements in software development tools and processes
• Participate in project meetings and serve as a technical expert in PHP, Joomla, and frontend
• Collaborate with the team using version control systems (Git/GitLab)
• Create and maintain unit tests for backend (PHPUnit) and frontend (React, Jest)
