Architekt Systemowy (Java)

The role is for a client in the insurance industry.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system architecture design and supervision
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring
• Ability to create scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed architectures
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices
• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure automation
• Ability to conduct code reviews, mentoring, and architectural workshops
• Experience in co-creating technology roadmaps and risk assessment
• Experience with end-to-end observability
• Practical knowledge of API governance and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agentic SDLC
• Experience with multi-cloud strategies
• Advanced practical knowledge of DDD
• Awareness of cloud cost management
• Participation in defining technological standards within an organization

• Designing a completely new Claims Reporting system and documenting system architecture
• Building the system from scratch using distributed microservices architecture
• Participating in feasibility analyses and defining implementation assumptions for system development
• Setting the direction for system development and maintaining technological standards and code quality
• Estimating workload and resource requirements for programming and architectural tasks
• Assigning development tasks, supervising implementation, reviewing code, and creating technical documentation
• Ensuring operational and security requirements are met in delivered solutions
• Providing programming support during development, deployment, and stabilization phases

Work location: Warsaw, Poland with hybrid work mode (1 day in office, 4 days remote)
