- Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience with Smalltalk VisualWorks with relevant proof.
- Experience working with complex Smalltalk legacy systems.
- Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation and unit tests.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in debugging and root cause analysis.
- Good communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to estimate effort reliably and justify estimates based on technical considerations.
Obowiązki
- Implement functional and technical requirements in Smalltalk (VisualWorks) according to specifications.
- Analyse and evaluate requirements; contribute to sizing and estimation activities.
- Provide effort estimates for assigned scopes of work.
- Develop and execute unit tests to validate implemented changes.
- Document implemented changes, including design rationale and operational considerations.
- Perform error analysis and bug fixing within existing, mature Smalltalk systems.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders during code reviews and requirement clarification.
