Team Lead – Infrastructure Engineering (DBA & Unix/Linux)

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Experience building and developing high-performance infrastructure teams.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration and/or Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience maintaining high-availability and high-performance environments.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and effectively resolve incidents.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Very good command of English.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and responsibility for assigned areas.

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry).
• Knowledge of risk management, security, and compliance in large organizations.

• Managing a team of DBA and Unix/Linux specialists.
• Coordinating and supervising task execution from issue receipt to solution delivery.
• Setting priorities and monitoring team work progress.
• Implementing and developing operational and engineering standards.
• Optimizing performance of database and infrastructure environments.
• Developing monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
• Collaborating with architectural, engineering, and operational teams.
• Building a culture of continuous improvement and supporting team development through mentoring and coaching.
• Monitoring team effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
