Senior DevOps Engineer

The role is within the Energy / Utilities industry, focusing on IT Infrastructure & Operations.

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container management.
• Expertise in AWS services such as EKS, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Solid experience with Azure services including AKS and Azure DevOps.
• Expert-level Terraform proficiency for infrastructure management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices, specifically using GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with JupyterHub and JupyterLab in Kubernetes environments.
• Proven skills in data and storage migration processes.
• Strong networking skills in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AKS to EKS migration.
• Familiarity with migrating Azure DevOps YAML pipelines to GitHub workflows.
• Prior experience with JupyterHub and JupyterLab.

• Support the migration from Azure pipelines to AWS/GitHub Actions.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms in Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production-grade cloud environments.
• Support compliance and security best practices.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance.
