• Proven experience in General Ledger / Record-to-Report processes, preferably in a leadership role.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and period-end close.
• Ability to analyse data, identify insights, and recommend improvements.
• Experience in process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of KPIs, cost drivers, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead and oversee end-to-end General Ledger processes, including journals, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Manage period-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Review financial statements, reporting packs, and balance sheet reconciliations with analytical insights.
• Monitor fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs, controls frameworks, and client-specific procedures.
• Support stakeholder communication, including escalation management and collaboration with finance controllers.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance performance and capability.
