Head of IT Operations

Gamefound is an innovative crowdfunding platform dedicated to creators and enthusiasts of games and pop culture, supporting both large projects raising tens of millions and smaller projects raising tens of thousands. The company focuses on helping creators run their crowdfunding campaigns and assisting players in discovering new, exciting projects. The team consists of technology and gaming enthusiasts.

• Experience independently leading and developing infrastructure/cloud areas
• Expert practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure including networking, security, automation, and service management
• Experience working with MS 365 services including security and administration
• Excellent knowledge of networking and IT security concepts (DNS, SMTP, firewalls, VPN, routing)
• Experience automating IT processes and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Proactive and independent attitude with ability to make significant technical decisions
• Ability to think strategically while managing daily operational tasks

Nice to have:

• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Practical knowledge of monitoring systems and diagnostic tools

• Shape and develop the company's cloud architecture with emphasis on security and scalability
• Make technical decisions related to cloud, network, and security
• Actively participate in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) in cooperation with Development and DevOps teams
• Design, develop, and maintain complex environments in Microsoft Azure and AWS focusing on high availability, security, and automation
• Oversee production environments including network, access, backups, user accounts, and office infrastructure
• Plan, implement, and optimize IT processes including automation, security, and daily operations ensuring business continuity
• Define architecture, standards, and security policies for Microsoft 365 services
• Monitor IT resource costs and efficiency, providing optimization and purchasing recommendations
• Manage network and communication areas (DNS, SMTP, VPN, firewalls) including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Automate and improve administrative processes using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Manage the IT team and collaborate with external DevOps teams
